It's Simple.. the ONLY way to make a request for something is to request that certain something inside your own post of a valid, non-reposted anony-ftp-site inside the "Anonymous-FTP-Sites - Forum #1." Yes there is a correct way & an incorrect way to post & reply on the Anonymous FTP Forum #1(ANONY-FTP), #2(RATIO-FTP) & #3(PERM-FTP). When posting a new FTP you should do a search (see below) to make sure the server your posting has not been already posted recently. When replying in the above Forums -> Keep reply's simple & to the point.. use the following info- Verified/Down/Deleted ...Speed k/s ...FXP Status ...Directory Listings. Using the ILE Search Engine. The Search Engine is located in the top right of each Forum & is here to help you! You can do searches for just about anything you'd like to find inside the ILE. Don't always believe that a Jr. doesn't know as much as a Member (or) that a Member is better then a Junior. Watching what people do is the keY! [-Back To The Top-] 7. Your Login & Password Your L/P is private and for your eyes only! If anyone is caught giving out an L/P you will no longer have access to the ILE. [-Back To The Top-] 13. What to do when files get deleted off an FTP. Here's another no brainer, ..just post that the ftp has been -deleted, & wait a bit or a day, and re-up/Load to it! (Don't fill up a Pulic FTP, ..the less space being used, leads to using less bandwidth off the server, which in turn leads to a longer lasting FTP. :) [-Back To The Top-] 14. Banning Members who abuse the ILE-Forums. Spamming & Rule Breaking will not be tolerated! All accesses to this board are logged, & we reserve the right to ban any user who abuses their privledges on this board. [-Back To The Top-] 15. Chatting on the ILE. Chatting is FORBIDDEN in Forums #1,#2, & #3. The Question & Answer Forum does not Forbid chatting, but chatting should be kept in line w/ the Subject under which the chat takes place. (Day -to- Day Chatting should be taken to another Board!) [-Back To The Top-] 16. What does ILE mean Anyway? ILE "Internet Link Exchange" ..is the exchanging of ftp-links located on the internet.
